It's not about my feelings. It's about the fact you are trying to find fault where there is none because you didn't pay attention and are confusing a lack of writing substance with your lack of attention to the material in order to deride the effort in it. I am typing in caps to make my points and shit is still going over your head. Watch episodes 9 and 10 again and realise... once again... she didn't know until then his powers didn't work on her. He was trying to seduce her legitimately in his own fucked up way because his powers didn't work and she was trying to figure out why the fuck he got Hope involved, had her kill her parents and came after her again, as well as how far he'd go. Watch the fucking show again, you claim to be a writer but the basic fundamentals of structure seem to be eluding you in this show's narrative and you're missing the plot points that establish internal logic.

You're takin' a simple criticism and turnin' it into a big deal. We've all said it's a good show.

This feelings fueled rant is mostly irrelevant. Her not knowin' his powers didn't work has nothin' to do with what we're sayin' coz he was unconscious and there to be killed. She didn't coz of Hope, who then suddenly, suddenly kills herself. No sign of suicide before. It was a cheap ploy fam

Hope had been abducted and preprogrammed by Purple Man. Duh. Why do you think he abducted her in the second time?

HER LITERALLY TRIED TO KILL HER HOPE BUT SHE THEN GOES THROUGH HER REDEMPTION ARC.

They called the character Hope, how much more obvious could it be?

Bruddah. This is why I asked you nicely to get out of your feelings. You're not listenin'.

Hope killin' herself when she did and in the manner she did took meanin' away from the precedin' episodes where JJ kept the villain she longed to kill alive.

It'd have been different, if say, Hope told Jess she was gonna dead herself and Jess fails to capture Kilgrave in time. Or if she killed herself earlier or later. Although I'd have preferred she didn't do it at all.

Again, I understand why she did it. I just think it wasn't the right move.

I respect the criticism of the show daredevil was such a well executed that this show can seem a step behind. I believe this show was great in its own right, I think this show had the daunting task of trying to appeal to the hardcore comic fans and new fans (mostly female)who enjoy the twist and turns of a normal show. With all that said I think the show was good but next season should be even better.

I'm STILL on ep 3..

Watching this is a chore for me...

I'm on episode 7, I was up til like 4am watching. I fuck with this, its not very comic bookie. More like a science fiction /crime-drama but I like it.

I just worry about Netflix pulling off all these shows and action going on in one particular area. I'm sure they got something brewing though.

S/N the Avengers references were dope. Only thing that is weird to me is the city has seen and been through all that shit so I expect it to be more like how it is in X-men where ppl are on edge about superpowers. Here they are still very surprised and in denial.

Daredevil can resist purple man just off willpower would have been dope if he lived so he could be used later

Just finished and looking back, this was really good.

Slow build, but it's season 1. This has the potential to go for several seasons, with season 2 already sparking interest with the weird doctor. Interested to see where that goes.

Casting was great for both Luke and Jess. There were moments when she looked like a illustration from a dark JJ novel. And Luke stood out in ep 12. Killgrave played greatly by David Tennent..stole the show really.

Rosario Dawson.

Overall just in behind DD. But to compare might not be fair.

This shit was too slow for me. And they just had to slip in her vomiting after sleeping with a black man... Hollywood just couldn't let it go, eh.

Finished it last night, dope. I got hyped when Claire popped up. I was like please let her call Matt! Smh, of course she turned it down.

The way she killed Kilgrave was anti climactic. He was a dope villain.

It was funny how ppl kept commenting on his name. Might as well be name Snuff corpse. Lol

But to be fair she was guilty for what she did, she was stalking him for a while. So I don't think that was a shot just more of her guilty conscience.

Finally finished it. I thought it was really good. Kilgrave as villian was dope David Tennant did a great job. The ways he was coming up with killing people were creative and funny as hell too. His death was a little anti climactic but I think they did it like that on purpose. It was more of the emotional payoff than a knock down drag out brutal death.

Daredevil is better but I don't even think its fair to compare the two. Two different type of people with two different type of life stories. I can't wait for Luke Cage's show. I'm guessing the next season is gonna be about that Corporation that's linked to Kilgrave, Simpson & Jessica. The fight between her & Luke was dope. Only thing I didn't like is the neighbor and her brother... especially the sister she was annoying as hell.
