Nelly Mo had hits all over that album. This was that album for me and my partnas in middle school.

Classic album from the country cousin in the midwest

I get that double albums costed more but ppl were still only buying 1 album

Its not like they had an option to buy half the album

And LOL at 2pac's greatest hits album going diamond, shows how great a legend he is. No other artist comes close to that, greatest hits albums usually don't even go plat.

Dont the double disc albums count as 2 sales for each album?

Heard that on here tho so it might be bullshit

It's true

Than really it should only be Em x2, Hammer, & Nelly on the list.

(Unless some of those double albums went multi diamond)

them double shits sold for 20 plus bucks...up to 27...id say they deserved itbfor that...at least back in the day

Exactly, double albums back then were expensive. I remember paying like $28 for All Eyez On Me, the same for Life After Death. With two cds being in there, there's nothing wrong with counting double disc albums twice, two cds were sold for each purchase anyway.

It did have 5 songs that you could only get if you bought it though including the huge hit "Changes" and the more well known version of "California Love". I guess you could buy the single but who actually bought singles.

No Way Out by Puff will go diamond too imo.

Its been sitting at 7x Platinum for 16 years. I don't even think the album's hit 6 million in sales yet.

The single went double platinum, but I know what you mean. It wasn't officially available until 6 months after it hit radio with that "How Do U Want It" maxi single.

Wow, I hated the album when it dropped (thought it was too commercial) but now looking back at all the wackness I actually bought it a couple years ago, and realised it was actually not commercial by todays standards...

Congrats to Nelly...

Also Im surprised that OutKast album went diamond!!! Is that due to streaming and that other new aged numbers schitt???

Why couldnt he say street sweeper?

that was slang that nobody got.

Black people censored that on the radio and video.

It aint the white man. its us. Thats the first fight. Us, then THEM.

i wont say uncle tom ass niggaz because i actually read the book and Tom was the down one and sambo was the snitch. But because it was a booked with Tom's name attached, thats why we call sell outs Üncle Tom.

So whats the use of fightin the system if niggaz gone be tellin our every move?

Harriet Black Moses aint carry a gun for white folks. She had it for black people who was gon trip.

Think people picked up he was talking bout a gun after a couple of listens.

It wasn't difficult cuz the line was. Street sweeper baby, cocked ready to let it go.
