Karl Malone On Dream Team: Pippen Over Jordan

(WSCR) Line up every basketball player in the history of the NBA against a wall – just like in P.E.

You have the first pick – who you taking?

The general consensus would undoubtedly be six-time NBA Finals MVP Michael Jordan. Not so fast, though, Karl Malone isn’t taking Michael.

“I would have to start my team with Scottie Pippen,” he told The Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday. “This is why I would take Scottie: Do you remember the time that Michael retired? I watched Scottie Pippen when the Chicago Bulls weren’t really good and Scottie led that team in every statistical category, and I just remembered that. Plus, he’s a guy who could care less about scoring. He wants to stop the best player on the other team. That would have been pretty cool, to see Scottie guarding Michael.”

I think he was just saying that Scottie will be the best combo for. It'll compliment his style more than Jordan would

scottie admitted himself he wasn't sure he should of been on that team. if wilkins was healthy i would of put him over pippen. if you look at it pippen didn;t really utilize his skill set till the 89-90 season. so that's only 3 season of great play for pippen....

but then again, i would of took pippen over mullen.

I think I read that article wrong. Was he saying who he'll pick first on the Dream Team or who he'll rather play with? Because if it's the first question, then he crazy for picking Pippen lol
