I was IT in the army.

Shit aint no cake walk. They place you in any kind of unit cause mf'ers need their internet, phones and radio.

I worked for a main and as support.

As main I controlled the WAN therefore i was always on convoys out fixing shit, fixing radios, computers and getting router vans back up.

When Cisco decided to make a safer router in 2004 i had to go to every unit and switch their routers out all across northern iraq.

Then VOIP happened.... Got trained on that, was out the office for 9 weeks.

Lots of learning, very little opprotunity to advance in rank, but the classes they put us thru...

Shit my wife learned how to splice fiber, got her own kit and everything.

Just dont fail..

Just got a job offer with Gartner in Fort Myers FL for 70k and I'm waiting on another job in response for 50k next week in Buckhead. Man I been grinding, and sacrificing like crazy. Also accepted a job offer with Comcast, but if I get that Sales Account mangment postion in FL then I'm out man. Next week is about to be a important one for me.

Who the fuck told you this?

I work at the va, to be eligible for benefits you have to have 24 mos active duty, only way you can be eligible from reserve or guard time is if you were deployed to a warzone/combat. They dont tell these guard and reserveman this shit they come check in and we have to tell them they can use their tricare anywhere but va you are not a veteran coming in on drill weeks with sprained ankles from pt test and shit like sorry dude you cant come here your not a veteran.
