I think so too!! Def Jam is tryin to set him up lovely to aim for a milli in sales. Its been awhile since my G sold a milli but the talent is still there so I feel with the machine behind him & another clas(sic) cd he can do a milli

I hope the Kendrick collab is on here. I know that was the song Kendrick was talking about with Sway when he said his first song with Dre was with a legend from NY. He is kind of mentoring Kendrick right now. Plus I have it confirmed Dre did do a song for Nas/Kendrick. I think he will have an entire album with Common as they are talking about it. I remember Tyler talking about working with Nas. I do not like albums with a ton of features. I will just hope for Kendrick, Tyler and Hodgy Beats, Jay Electronica, Lupe and AZ. People worry about the names of producers too much. I just hope the overall product is ill.

Cant wait to cop 3 copies of it. I really cant wait for that release date tho. All of this sounds good, but without any set time frame i can tell that what he has done now, wont be the final project when its released.

hes been ft on wayne and ross songs... NAS actually has a buzz with the younger genration now since they were exposed to him through those wayne and ross songs.. hopefully they beacme fans and will support him and his new album.. i think they will..

NAS is one of the few rappers left that will sell no matter what the single etc... is... nas fans are the most loyal in hip-hop.

lookin good in 012 for that boy NASIR..

hip-hop is alive!

hip-hop is alive! Yessir!! I agree,Esco d#mn near been on every other YMCMB release. He defntly has a loyal following but he's lost some of the fickle ones over da yrs. As long as he brings dat heat as he can only do I feel it'll B a win-win & this cd will B his last (contractually) with D Jam so they have to give him dat push

Only on internet blogs/message boards are they charged

the block/clubs/parties and social functions with women dont give a fuck

Thats why his album got pushed back indefinitely after that 'nasty' trash flopped

" You know how gangstas do they ride wit choppas in their cars/ they sippin on syrup and THEY DON'T LISTEN TO NAS"

NAS will outsell all of the "party" rappers that you think are relevant... ROFL @ sean @ 250k..

Nas will outsell any rapper not named EM,jay, kanye, wayne, drake?

gangstas also don't listen to young buck since that phone call. lol

I was talking to this huge Young Money fan the other day (about 20 years old) and I asked him what his favorite song on C4 was and he said "To be honest, Wayne ain't even on it. It's the Outro cause Nas killed it."

That's from a huge Wayne fan... So it might be looking good.

Featuring on Mary J Blige, Rick Ross, Amy Winehouse, K'Naan, Lil Wayne, Common, Tyga, Raekwon and Mobb Deep (for his street fanbase) all over the last year is exposing him to damn near every demographic. I think Nas will be able to maintain his artistic integrity while still appealing to everyone to an extent.

Not saying he'll go plat but if he pushes the right singles I think he can do 150k first week and go gold. Which would be great at this point in his career.
