I'd rather be in Nas' shoes honestly. People keep talking about Nas' financial situation, but didn't Nelly also recently run into financial trouble, owing the IRS, and also facing foreclosure on a home in Missouri?

Both are facing financial issues from what I know, but Nas' catalogue is 100X more respectable than Nelly's.

I'd say Nas b/c Nelly is going to go down in history as a wack pop rapper.

I don't really want a LONG stint, so I say "nelly"... Eventho nas makes album with more significance thru time. The long winded race kind of take a way of his most impressionable moments... If he would have branch on to different things than maybe this wouldn't be. Not saying it's about your businesses or mogul success, but thats why artist do more than one thing, so they won't just be known as "making albums" because then it's like their name losses significance.. eventho their albums may be valuable music..

I don't really think nelly has made as many valuable albums as nas, but career wise, I rather make a big stint than be out.

I think I would take Nas. Nelly might have made more money off his albums and had his nice flavour of the month fun, but after he dies nobody going to remember him for much else besides "hot in herrre" and wearing band aids on his face

Nas on the other hand will go down as having a classic debut, making a remarkable comeback in the Jay-Z feud, and pushing boundaries musically collaborating with Damian.

Basically it's money VS recognition the way I see it, and money is great but recognition after you die is what immortalizes men, not money.
