I remember hearing that "I Am" was the first major HipHop album to get majorly leaked online, before that you had to hit the Barbershop or the car awash to get the hard bootlegs then all of a sudden everybody had MP3's and MP3 players were you didn't even have to have the hard joints.

Nas is one artist who's music sounds best on vinyl but CD is cool, and yeah he ain't care about a leak, he's Nas he gonna get paid off them tours and guest-verses.

Why can't rappers avoid the leak and just drop it on the following Tuesday?

How often have rappers moved the release date up?

If it leaks on Monday, there should be an executive decision to drop the whole album on the 10th.

Its gotta be hard to avoid leaks (since its been happening for so long), but there should be a work around to salvage some numbers.

I've never pre-ordered an album before, but after hearing 7 high quality songs from Nas... Had to do it. For him to put out great music after all these years speaks highly of his character and shows he still has a great deal of respect for his craft.
