The problem with Nas and other vets/legends is they co-sign bullshit tho. I mean nobody told him to do a songs with the "superfriends". And those are the niggas who aren't being honest just making the same lame bullshit. Nas been saying this shit but still co-signs bullshit bummy ass rappers. And not just him Jay and Kanye do the same bullshit co-signing and collabing with wack rappers.

part of being honest is actually challenging your peers to step their fucking game up. Nas does not do that. those rappers do one song with nas then go back to the same old bullshit. Back in 2003 when Nas had his beef with Jay Z and they wouldn't let him do his thing at Summer Jam Nas went on `Power 105 and made a rant about the state of the industry and named names. He called out NORE and Cam'ron. He called out the radio stations. In fact, the whole Stillmatic album was him calling out rappers that he had beef with.

You might say, "yeah but that was 10 years ago". Maybe so but you can't say that at one point Nas didn't call people out and name names. But also, you can't make a career calling out rappers and telling people to step their game up, you'd make too many enemies and you'd eventually get blacklisted.

How would nas get blacklisted for calling out wack rappers. Matter of fact there would be fans behind him supporting his shit. Look at Jay. He called out drake for those art rap lines and "put it in a rap". Even drake fans are like "jay won this shit" or "damn drake cant respond. Niggas on this site and i have seen in real life who have fucked with drake did not stan for drake and pointed out he was right.

Nas don't have to have half his 2014 book of rhymes filled with a nuaghty list of rappers. But he could personally push certaion rappers or publicly lite a flame under a rapper to make them better. Please tell me you think nas could actually be blackballed from rap.

Again its the opinion leaders like Jay Ye Kanye etc who need to fire up rap if they "dont see mcs brave enough to be honest". If nas doesn't say those words then im not asking him to do shit. But if you go through the same hip hop is dead cause....Then do shit to save hip hop stop being so vague. You can't expect honesty then do a fantasy rap song with rick ross enabling his lying in his raps.
