It wasn't nowhere near Doggystyle's level, But Snoop flowed on that mothafucka. Major problem was Snoop had Dj Poohs beats instead of Dre's beats. He shoulda let Daz produced the whole album.

I wouldn't say it's work ethic. Meth stays on tour, does movies and drops music here and there. The thing with Meth is just that his solo cataloge ain't really up to par. I love Meth but i just think of the potential he had/has. Strong voice, dope lyricist (Especially in the 90's and early 00's), dope live performer, dope flow, charisma, "star look" and what have you but he was still hood with it. Wasn't like he was walking around with a Boy George image, dude was on that weed smoking bugged out hair wilding out ass steez. Hood niggas fucked with him and the broads fucked with him.

RZA always said that Meth had a problem picking good beats though. Plus he always says that Redman usually is the studio tech and the guy who picks beats so i think that's one of his main problems.
