If i was a executive producer i would've tried pairing 2pac and DMX up at least for an album, that is if 2pac was alive of course lol.
My idea would be like DMX being the "dark side" (hence Darkman X) and 2pac being more of the "light" of one common person. Essentially that's what both of them were and are about musically. DMX would speak more from the street perspective. He would bring the same anger, the darkness, the hunger, the pain and all he brought when he came out. 2pac would be more of the 2pac we saw on "2pacalypse Now", "Me Against The World" & "Don Killuminati", kicking knowledge but also trying to build our minds with realities and dualities of the world and we're we should go as people.
One would've been like "Bruce Wayne" and the other "The Dark Knight". I wouldn't just have them go 16-hook-16-hook on every song. I would have them really really go in, back and forth, ad-libing each other or filling up lines/spots on some Jada/Styles steez, "battle" each other on track about the dualities of that one common person struggling between right and wrong and so on.
Sound like some super complex shit lmao but i honestly think that would've been dope if it was made the way i'm picturing it.
