i think the album was dope and nas did his thing, weezy went in imo but it really made me check for damian marley

I'm glad to hear cats saying they gonna BUY the album, considering ya'll can just download it. The album is dope.. I'm in Canada and I can't wait for them to come over here on tour.

After Lauryn hill dropped her shit I was waiting for something like distant relatives. .. Reggae is my lane and for the little rap that I do like .. Nas is my rapper. So to get them 2 on an album!! WICKED!

Damian dropped just as much Knowledge in his lyrics if not more...It's just that a lot of people can't understand what he says so they miss it...But Patience is my shit...all three of the verses on there are CRAZY...prolly goin over dudes heads both of Damians verses are some of the realest lines ever spit.

Hands down this is the Album of the year.

I never paid much to attention to Nas, but over the years a track here and there, and I got to say I really thought this Distant Relatives was one of the greatest albums this year in hip hop. To me what hip hop should sound like if it was in the mainstream. Without all the bullshit that is is so many of say today's top ten albums.

best album of the year, rivaled by only The Roots How I Got Over. I bought 5 copies of the album. gave 3 to the most intelligent rap deprived friends in my clique, & donated the other copy to a local community center. Patience & Africa Must Wake Up = songs of the year (along with Dear God 2.0)

Yeah I hear ya, but I'm not gonna let one bad song sleight my hope in him. Even if by some chance he doesn't drop a gem, it'll be something great.
