My Teacher completely has me by the nuts...

For the last two years...almost 60 credits...from the school I started at to the school I go to now...I've had a 4.00 (give or take an A-....its really around 3.95). Howard U gave me a transfer scholarship to enroll this fall. It's full tuition. Have to keep a 3.25 to maintain.

Today I had a Midterm for Speech. My cell phone & alarm clock didn't go off. My teacher DOES NOT fuck with me. At all. I've called her, sent her 4 emails, went to her office as soon as I got up. I aint see her & she aint get back to me yet.

If she says I can't make this shit up....I will most likely fail her course, get below a 3.25 GPA & lose my scholarship.

I dont even know what to do....I've had straight A's for the last two years & now I might lose everything over a muthafucking Speech Class & this chick is the kind of spiteful ass teacher that would say no to a makeup just to prove a point.

Will a 0 for the midterm really mean that there is no way you can pass the course? (I assume that passing the course, if only barely, wouldn't drop you below 3.25 if you get A's in your other courses.) How much of your grade is it worth?

Why didn't your alarm clock go off? Find out and make sure it doesn't happen again.

I think your prof should let you do a make-up. And it shouldn't take begging. But if beg you must, beg you must.

Sometimes in life what you did in the past holds no weight, but what your doing now IS ON THE SCALE. Remember dat cuh.

For future references, try to get your classes started a lil' later (in the morning). I missed a mid term b4 b/c I always wanted my classes to be over early so I could have my day to myself, but I'm not an early bird type nikka and I happened to oversleep. Fortunately I was able to take it later that day, but my professor wasn't a hard ass either.
