i hate long distance relationships. my boyfriend's gift got to me on time, but my gift to him is late....smh--we sent it the same day and around the same time.

I was in this same exact situation last year but my girl was in Boston(now lives in NY tho). But I sent her a big ass teddy bear with the necklace i bought her around the bears neck, a gift cert. to a spa, and I wrote her 8 poems inside a book that we kept around since elementary.(she didnt kno I still had it).

She flew down here the next day...eyes full of tears lol

What do I do? I need the female opinion here.

She said she doesn't want me spending any money, and I certainly don't want her to either.

Should I just send flowers or is that too generic?

I would write her a song (Yes I've done that before) and just put it in a card?

Should I actually record the song?

My only problem with that is if the song doesn't come out very good, its a waste IMO.
