Man Ive been in a similar situation, if I were you Id mind my business... I had to learn that shit the hard way...

yeah u alway run the risk of the person u telling doesnt beleive u...then thats a whole set of new problems..there some accuintances I have that I wouldnt say shit if I knew they were getting played

Charlie is in between a rock and a hard place. Do you sacrifice one friend to save another? Is it really going to save the one friend? Is the other friend for sure cheating? Will exposing one friend even accomplish anything? Will it make the two friends find strength in each other and push Charlie out for her good deed?

Yep....exactly what's going on

The best decision in this situation is to back away from the two of them and let the chips fall where they may

Either side you take, keeping a person that's not woman enough to stand up in her dirt and goes so far as to make up a scenario about hurricane victims so that she can cheat is a foul, sour person on the inside. Wouldn't call that broad a friend....show me your friends and i'll show you who you are

Just back de fuck uppp and let the house of cards collapse on itself...and then post a thread about it

This must be a female thing , or is it just me? Cuz I have niggas who cheat on their girls, and I dont view them as being foul or sour individuals, the nigga just likes strange pussy....... Do any of yall dudes look at ur homey in a different light if he cheats on his girl?

She has cheated before... I dont really care about that BUT the excuse she gave to him this time to go out of town for 3 days was:

"I am going to New York to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy for 3 days, and they are going to pay me 20 dollars an hour."

:( Poor guy.

yeah but how long have you and her boyfriend been fucking behind her back tho??

I used to not care, but I guess being older, knowing my boys who do have girls have actual good women on their arms, I'd look at them like they're stupid for fucking around on a good woman when they could still get pussy while being single. Even bigger than that though, is to me it just shows a serious flaw in their decision making. If you willing to fuck up long term happiness for a short term pleasure it shows me how you really operate. You don't plan for the future you plan for the moment and I don't keep people like that around me. I'd be more suspect of that than them actually cheating. The cheating is just where the thought process manifest itself.

How you with somebody for 10 yrs and ain't even married is the question. Then again if it were me no way I'm staying with a female for 10 yrs and no ring shit don't make sense.

was thinking this but you know how some niggas are...they believe in those ridiculously long commitments because "marriage/monogamy is an institution that's meant to bring men down"

Well in a way you can't blame them though but that's a whole different topic.

To me, it's more of a grown up thing than a female thing. But I can see why men feel that way.

If you've known a couple for a long time and befriended both parties to a point that you'd call them both your 'friend,' you don't want to see either of them get hurt. So to see a friend hurt another friend makes you judge their character in a negative light.

Plus as you get older you tend to keep those squares out of your circle. When you're in a committed relationship/marriage, the last thing you need to do is keep negative energy around you. Charlie's homegirl is just overflowing with negativity. Any broad that will blame her cheating on a natural disaster that ppl have lost their lives in is just...goddamn bitch smfh!!!! The people you sincerely consider your friends are a reflection of you. You gotta keep positive people around you to uplift and encourage you...not bum ass people who stir up negativity in their own lives and relationships. If they're willing to stir up shit in their lives you best believe they wouldn't hesitate to stir up shit in yours

With age and experience comes lowered tolerance for the fuckshit...I have a couple associates that engage in fuckshit but i don't really consider em friends. I just keep em on a long leash so I can use them when their services are required and to laugh at them.

BTW, if your gal is gallivanting with bitches that cheat on her man...chances are, you're next (no shade Charlie, not calling you a cheating smut bitch but statistics are statistics)

The bold is very telling. The extent one is willing to go through to deceive a person is a sign of what they can and will do if they ever want to deceive you. Also, if you're ever friends with a couple, like really good friends, as a true friend you don't put someone you call your friend in an awkward ass situation. Like them knowing you're hoeing around on your man. That not only puts you in a position of now knowing you got one trifling friend, it also now puts you in the position of hurting another friend and losing them out your life for you being deceptive towards them as well. Now you're in a position to lose a good person out your life based on some shit you didn't even technically have a hand in. Sounds like you got a friend that really thinks alot about your well being there Charlie...
