Definitely one of the best autobiographies I ever read. This dude was a modern day Superhero. Very few books
have changed my way of thinking or been more revealing than what I anticipated but this was one.
Not to make this about me, but His way of speaking was captivating to me b/c I can't do it and yet he seemed to do it with such ease. Brilliant
Ali:
-Spoke on behalf of other countries
-Promoted himself
-Survived shootouts on a lone ranch set up to assassinate him
-Survived racist chain gang fights in Kentucky when it was 12 whites against just him and his boy.
-Traveled the world to learn more about Islam and meet with other leaders to organize help for black Americans
-Constantly in the Community
-The quickest witted intelligent/bold/charismatic/unapologetic black man I have ever seen or read of.
-Gave back to the community
-A poet, An activist, businessman, entertainer, champion
-Willing to let all his sponsors go due to his Integrity, faith and belief
-Lost career and titles for 6 years due to the racist USA sentencing him to prison
-Went publicly constantly on tv interviews to educate/debate white scholars and won.
-Saved a man from committing suicide
-Held fights internationally in Zaire, Africa and in Manila to help raise money for those lands
-Came to eventually be a good businessman
-Wrote his story of his frame of mind, private conversations with Presidents, and experiences in life.
-Won against the world's greatest boxers
-Boxed (simply put, boxing is known to be one of the absolute most physically demanding sports of any)
-A fighter who stood for peace
