The Sopranos - I watched the 1st and 2nd season before going "this boring shit ain't better than Oz" and never watching again
Friends - If I recall, this show went 6 seasons without a single black person appearing on it. Then some black bish dated Joey for like 1 episode and the media ran a bunch of articles hyping up how progressive that was. "Oh, look at our shitty relationship jokes and our Manhatten apartment that would cost 7 million dollars in real life" Fuck this show with a HIV carrier, no vaseline and a M-16.
Lost - Had a spark when it started. OF COURSE the final episode was trash, LOL @ these Lost stans that expected better.
NYPD Blue - Got all this praise and ratings for "pushing the envelope" because the actors would say "bitch" and flash they ass on camera for 2 seconds. Meanwhile, Homicide was languishing in a Friday Night Death Slot while it was *actually* pushing the envelope and laying the groundwork down for The Wire. Everything that Dennis Franz did over 12 seasons, Dominic West did better in those first 12 eps of Wire. They gave dude 4 lead actor Emmys FOH.
Jersey Shore - or as I prefer to call it, THE WHITE MAN'S POISON. ya'll naggas had a stickied thread for this trash smdh
Sex and the City - Hot garbage. Slap yo girl if she likes it.

Friends was hella overrated, and you know what? So is Martin, and I'm a Martin fan. People talk about Martin like every show was a classic when that jawn clearly had its good seasons and its terrible seasons.

what! How I met your mother is hilarious to me. It fits the "King of Queens" and "Scrubs" mold that I desire out of daytime comedies. Its definitely a friends knock off though.

yeah I find myself being a hypocrite for hating movies that revolve around love because they follow the same formula, then turn on tnt and watch nothing but formula after formula type shows

My parents kept me from watching Martin (along with COPS) so I never got onto the Martin hype
