People give this album too much credit. Jay's alleged wordplay was elementary compared to some of the stuff i heard on GZA's Liquid Swords.

Illmatic and mmlp are classic albums but it's all opinion. Illmatic is a GOAT canidate.

All eyez on me is overrated for being the first double disk cd in hip hop. It's a classicfor what it represents no the actual content.

I only like 6-9 songs. It's just had WAY to much filler.

Me against the world is a classic though, one of my favorites. The makeveli album is like a 4/5

this is such a stupid excuse..he is a great rapper, and a great artist thats why, and they were just examples. he a classic solo album (maybe 2) and mixtapes enough said. and yes, his first verse is far better than ems, sorry.
