Watch The Throne: SMH at some of yall calling Watch The Throne a classic. Its an ok album from two artists who have fallen the fuck off. I was excited to get this album, and was pissed when I listened to it. I enjoyed BP3 from Jay, but he fell off hard since American Gangster. Kanye..... Man he was my favorite artist for years, but after 808's and MBDTF I just don't enjoy his new shit. So when I heard these two were coming together I thought they could bring the best back out of each other... And that did not happen. It was a 6/10 album lets get real.
The Carter IV: Weezy has fallin off of Hip Hop. He is doing his thing for the mainstream pop crowd, and tons of people love him. And yeah the Carter IV is better than Rebirth, and I Am Not Human. Its an average album with some hot tracks, but a lot of weak material. I did gain some respect for him after"I'm Good"... And I feel Jay needs to respond. But why did he not go at Em after all the subliminal shots Em has thrown at him? Had he went at Em and Jay I would buy the copy just based off that alone.... But this is a download only for me.
Rolling Papers: NO explanation needed here.... I hate this album with a passion, and believe it to be some of the weakest shit dropped in awhile. I am not even going to try and find something good about this album.
Hell: The Sequel: I had this on repeat for about a month after it was released. Its a solid album, made for fans of lyrics. But the replay value is not there, and will simply be a sleeper in Eminem's discography.
This year Big Sean, Joe Budden, Game, Yelawolf, and Tyler The Creator have made albums that have a good shot at being viewed as classic down the line. Finally Famous, Mood Muzik 4, Trunk Muzik 0-60, The R.E.D. Album, and Goblin are shitting on everything.
MM4 dropped 10/26 of last year.
