Mortal Kombat 9 has the best story mode in any fighting game to me.

Yeah MK9 and Injustice have the best story presentation wise.

I say presentation because the Blaz Blue series have good stories but it isn't presented as well. It's cutscenes are loads of text with voice acting and still shots. If they were animated out like MK9, it would easily compete with MK and Injustice for the top spot.

Same goes for Persona 4 Arena but it was made by the same developer as Blaz Blue.

WWF No Mercy was dope too. The story changed depending on whether you won or lost and there would be interferences in your matches based on your beefs. The storymode was more dynamic.

The interference sometimes was annoying, though.

I remember being The Rock and whooping the shit outta Boss Man and Stone Cold came out and fucked me up quick. I lost.

I was soooooo heated that I jumped to play vs Stone Cold in a no dq match and I beat his ass for like 10 minutes straight.
