I was felt me against the world is the greatest album in hiphop history. Not to many albums when you can find the black experience encompassed into a total are form. Put together, seamlessly fine tuned and ordered. Shit is the best piece of music I have ever heard.
The range of emotions from anger, ampathy, apathy, love, hate, respect. If rap was a symphony, that was sympathy #40 in G minor. Especially when you look at the state rap is in now. Shit is comedic, and to be honest. I blame Puffy, Jay Z, Russell Simmons,J Prince, Master P, and all the other bus. Icons of hiphop.
The OG's are OG's because they been there and done that. An OG is supposed to help a BG move in a way to not avoid the same pitfalls. Cause youth gone do what youth gone do. But an OG is supposed to help a BG see it from an OG perspective. When you an OG at somthing, it has beaten you down. But you made it, it makes you respect what beat you down.
These niggaz don't respect rap, these niggaz don't respect our culture. These niggaz respect their name that is respected. Ion give a fuck what they do in their local community. That's like being the only home owner in the hood. Saying, well...my yard clean. My house good, my kids in college.

You see these folks on the sides of roads in hot as weather with safety vests on. Picking up litter, you see these folks maintainin a community garden that bears no fruit. Just flowers for the look.
The thinking is, when I'm straight...if you straight...and we straight. We all better than straight. We good, we have a jump off platform for our BG's to be even better how. And then so on, dem seeds..that garden..it becomes a meadow..then a forest.
But what these cats is doing for that name they have. Is watered down the essence of what should speak to the youth. They took that OG and made him a caricature of himself. They got the BG'S looking at a parody of the life they lead. And not the real picture of the life that is.
That's why these hoes ain't loyal, and if it ain't about the money, they don't want to talk. That's why pistols are let off. We not suppose to have feelings. It really pisses me off when a teacher from the school calls me for a problem with my child. For one, dont' fucking call my phone with some sweet tone in your voice like you're the messenger of god okay. My kid tells me every day how much a prick you are and how shitty of a tone you speak to the kids in but then want to call me when my child finally tells you you're rude and ignorant and maybe you shouldn't be a teacher.
I start of being an asshole, no point being all nicey nicey when I know by the end of the conversation the asshole in me is going to be on heavy display.
When I went to school, it was one or two bad teachers in the school and all the kids dreaded getting that one next year. Nowadays? The whole school is filled with little prick teachers and one or two good ones.
Like how are you going to not set an example for the child, then get mad at them when they fail because they behaved the same as you? You get 5in from my kids face and try to intimidate her...dude you're a grown fucking man, and you like to intimidate little girls? Call me back when you fix YOUR problems... click.

So yo..my mind was bored getting ready for and getting to work today. So i preoccupied it by thinking of comparing rappers I listen to, to athlete's and their play styles.
First let me start off wit DMX, to me DMX is like the Mike Vick of rap. Just naturally gifed and suiteD perfectly for his career choice. From his voice, his ablity to go off the dome, to hormonize perfectly for what type of music he makes. To his overall personality. And at the same time meets the same pittfuls, so talented that he took his ablity for granted. And as he grew older he didn't fine tune the intangibles you need for an extended career when you natural ablities either fade, or not as suited for the career as they once were. Still the best mobile QB of all time, Still the best grimey rapper of all time.
Lloyd Banks, one of my all time favorites. Lloyd Banks to me is like Penny Hardaway. Of course that means Shaq Is 50, but i'll get to that later. From the start of national exposure, skills on display. Looks effortless, quiet dude but skills loud as fuck. Then an injury hampered him to where he couldnt do what he once did. But still, change up his style and got more efficient. His game might have been now as quiet as his demeanor. And still even then you can respect it and enjoy it, and just by looking know what he once was and could have been.
Another favorite of mind is Jadakiss. To me Jadakiss is like James Harden. One side of his game is unquestionably great. At the same time it "looks" to be either lack of concern or just know how, that hinders his all around game. We keep watching hoping it all comes together for em. But each time, we get frustrated with the overall result knowing what could be there. With the right supporting cast around his to compensate for his deficiencies, maybe we will see it one day.
Fab,..Fab man, fab like AP. Talented bit very much straight and to the point. He gone get his, and don't seem to concerned with meeting the apex as much as he is with getting his. You'd think if he was he would switched up somthing and tried for. Fab gave us breathe and AP gave us plus 2000 yards. Just to show you that he could. Then fell back, got his numbers ..got his money. Show goes on.
Budden, budden like RG3. Da nigga too talented but at the same time very aware of his talent so it makes him really arrogant. Throwing the ball away way over the receivers head, when it could just dumped it off to the check down for a minimum gain. And you watchin it like, we get...ur talented. Now make a fucking standard pass and stop bein a fucking show off and tdying to hit home runs everytime.
