Im not sure about the percentages being accurate or not.. But Yeah, Monta guarded the other teams best perimeter player every single night. Whether it was KD, Granger, Wade or Tyreke Evans. He never guarded people like Bron or Melo though.. Im in the Bay Area and Monta was our "Best" perimeter defender. Wright is a bum on defense and has slow feet.. He tries at least lol

First off Monta isnt 6'1". He's 6'3". And can is quicker but strong enough to guard bigger players.

I was strictly talkin about the fact that he did guard them. And, he did have games where we was giving the bigger guards fits because of his quickness. Theres no way Im calling him a defensive stopper or anything.. And Im not saying that he CAN guard them consistently. But he's definitely held his own on more than a few occasions.

^^ Plus Don Nelson was being stupid. He tried to work his magic and thought he could turn Monta INTO the PG. It didnt work... Which is why we drafted Curry

He never got the chance. The summer Baron left we gave Monta the extension...he rode a moped..the next season we drafted Curry....You don't know what you're talking about.

Nah.. That was the last season they played together. That wasnt the Playoff year. When they started benching Baron, it was because they decided to move on since they already knew they werent offering him a legit contract. Plus, Davis stopped playing because of that shit. He felt disrespected. Once they switched up to Monta as the PG, we started losing at the end of the season.

That's not true. After Jax and Baron quit, Monta was leading huge comebacks and keeping us in playoff contention. By the end of the year, he was clearly the best player on that team.
