Its not that I think they're serious and in need of urgent attention. Its more that the feature is useless if its full of crap. The idea is that reports (such as those for spam) should be a useful way for a tiny group of moderators to police a huge group of posters without having to read every comment.
I understand that these boards are full of churlish cockfondling giglets who love to joke, and I hope my interaction here has proved that I love to fuck around as well. That said, there are some tools like the reporting and flagging that could be very useful to you guys if you could reclaim them for yourselves.
But its just a suggestion.
