Do you think there will be a time soon when the community board is about obsolete and Allhiphop basically brands it's staying power off of social media outlets such as Facebook, Youtube and Snapchat?

I used to, but nowadays not so much...the reason being, social media has its perks, but I've never witnessed any real form of community. u either got folks tryna show off and stunt, and/or argue why their opinion matters and yours doesn't. on here, as long was keep taking care of it, there's a sense of community here, on the IC.

you've got ppl who've been "exposed" on here multiple times, but prefer being here to anywhere else. you've got folks who've done the social media thing, but preferred a more intimate community. you've got folks who don't like posting pics/vids, even though they love all the diff filters on Snap. you've got folks who've never "got" Twitta, or got it but didn't like it. you've got folks who've been shitted on by the IC, but still make the time to lurk.

^^with all that said, this is a progressive community. I look at a lot of the things that go on on Twitta today, and think to myself how that originated on the IC. not messageboards, the IC. that wasn't by accident. and knowing the background of AllHiphop, Greg and Chuck were being forward thinking before social media and smartphones even existed. honestly, I don't think the community will ever truly die. I just want more ppl being involved, more ppl being comfortable HERE.

there will be times when AllHiphop uses its brand power on other media outlets...that's the nature of the business. but as long as we take good care of the community, and ppl are comfortable here, methinks we'll be aight.
