Ok, the word is good, regarding uploading pics, but I'm having issues with the execution. Imma pass on what I was told (the bolded), and one of us is gonna figure out how to do this properly, and then tell erybody else, lol:
The editor on desktop allows you to add images via an image URL (doesn't need to be from a hosting site), and from the user's computer via upload and/or drag&drop.
On mobile, the current editor allows uploads directly from one's phone, or by use of an image link to a PNG, JPEG, and/or GIF (among others). That said, when using URL, the image code does need to be in the link, normally at the end.
[there was also a pic embedded in the response, that shows...hmm...the image it shows (the add URL graphic), doesn't look like mine does on mobile. Vanilla's image (on mobile), gives one a drop down option after clicking the add graphic icon and says "Choose file" above the Image URL box (after one clicks the drop down). I'm not seeing that, lemme holla back)]
