That's why Donkey fell off in the first place. People posting Donkey threads in GnS too so traffic is going to shift to GnS. And of course half the content of AKA Donkey isn't suited for GnS so those threads end up being locked anyway. Honestly, there's a lot of threads that are in GnS that shouldn't even be and it's been like that for a while now. Half of those threads belong in Social Lounge, Lights Camera Action, and other sub-forums. Official Zimmerman Trial thread = For The Grown & Sexy? For real, doe?

That's why I asked the question before but what exactly is a G&S thread?

Most threads that get made there could be argued that they belong in other sections.

Those news threads that Chitlin makes could be placed in the Social Lounge.

Those race threads could be in race and religion

college/high school threads in growing pains

Popularity threads in the Donkey

Before we can enforce the rules we need to clearly define what is a G&S thread and then make that clear to the posters.

The GZ thread can live in G&S...I'd be more surprised if there wasn't one in both G&S AND the Social..

I agree that the distinction should be made by the mods...just sayin the GZ thread's not a great example...it's a current event, and a contemporary one at that, anyone can speak on it, so it can live in G&S.

Seriously doe, I gotta I disagree. I feel GnS is for mature topics and discussions, more so than actual "events". I see a thread, for example: Would you feel different about the situation if you were in GZ's position? Or if their positions were switched...along those lines. An official thread for it there? Eh..but hey, that's just my take on it. What I think sucks is when I go to the Social Lounge looking for people's take on that particular situation..there's only like 15 posts in that joint since April. Other section suffer cause people want everything posted in their "home" section as apposed to making things balanced. I think the lines being more definitively drawn between sections would be for the better at this point.
