for the record, I was under the impression that the new site was already comparable to this one, with added customization. I was NOT informed about things being a "step back," so...add to that the list of things that's aggravating me rn. anyway, for the record, I'm personally tryna get things stable, every day.

we're gonna/have already lost some folks, and that's part of the game. but I'm shooting for gettin it back to at least WE feel comfortable posting on our own shit again, asap as fuckin possible.

Happy New Year Mod Squad !!!! Overall thank you guys for everything and every moment on this rendition of the IC. We're not done yet we still have much more to do and accomplish as a squad. Thank you @ThatDamnJay for knighting us, believing in us and giving us a chance to all do our thing for that I'm not sure how we can pay you back LOLOL. I know right now you learning the Indian Dance to bring our Reign Back !!! We aren't too happy with the new platform on the Maven and we're only showing some resistance because we genuinely love the IC and want it to be the best ever. I always remembered you hate repeating yourself so but we're just so passionate we want to win too and not be forgotten. In a lot of ways you instilled this attitude in us to go for the best, always du what's right and be real. We're with you to the very end Chief !!!! We want to see the IC continue to grow and expand and remain the go to place for hip-hop, entertainment, pop culture and life in general. Some of us dayum near grew up on here.

Some of the things I'm thankful for this year are @"Busta Carmichael " , @atribecalledgabi and @StoneColdMikey becoming mods. Man that shit was the last thing on my list of things to accomplish on the IC and true to the core they watched out performed and did amazing. Busta took over the Reason and modded very well, definitely mod of the year in my book. Mikey KILLED the game and was amazing, Gabi did great especially with LCA and the game of thrones thread and that was just a glimmer of what they were capable of. Not to take away from the others @"5th Letter" had the thread of the year with the Reason Interviews which I'm happy to have had a chance to participated in. @Stew held it down from the sports section throughout the entire IC man iuno how you were always able to keep up with everything and everyone all at once, shout outs to @MillzOG I wish we could have gotten you on the front page writing and doing your thing especially given the amount of effort you put into Cheap Seats, even @DOPEdweebz was doing his thing that nigga built OTT which deserves a lot of props and still had time to work on The Reason from time to time, definitely the most hated but can't deny his work ethic. @Black_samson always been a dope poster and mod to me, @MsSouthern always held it down and was always a voice of reason. @dalyricalbandit the OG always in the cut always ready in case shit pop off, @Cain the real OG as much as we joke about your age I'm happy you're on our squad and always had the maturity to sit us down and tell us to stfu and kys when we got out of hand. @KillaCham my nigga in this world and the next it was fun AF playing against you in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 fam and other games, you fight well and I also gotta thank you for helping to lay the groundwork for Donkey over the years and of course I gotta shout out @"Idiopathic Joker" one of the top 5 funniest niggas ever and boldest niggas in the game NH. Nigga beefed with everyone but I'm happy you also became a mod and stuck with us all this time too !!! @blackrain one of the best debaters imo and man oh man I wish we could have had one last debate LOLOLOLOL but I think cuz we think so much alike that's prolly why we never had one LOLOL. @infamous114 thank you for also holding down Ill Pix with Dalyricalbandit and keeping that joint moving and always updated.

Man I know I'm missing others but trust there's no ill will I wish everyone the best it's new years and my phone is blowing up LOLOLOLOL. Overall we'll get through this phase and no matter in my eyes y'all are family to me online and I'm happy to have had the privilege and honor to work with you. 2018 is our year and we're gonna do great !!!!

I feel like time will reveal the truth of and in everything. Everything will take care of itself in due time. Those who are truly down for the IC are gonna benefit from it in the future in some form, and the snakes... well they already slithered away and will continue to jump bandwagons like they always do.

In chaos there’s always opportunity. It won’t come overnight, but everything will come back in stride once momentum, comfortablility, and stability all meet at one time again.

This is how the game goes. It’s just gonna be a real frustrating beginning, but I hopeful as always since 2004, we will find a way to innovate and rebrand, if we ACTUALLY listen to each other, and not take this shit and people for granted. That shit gotta change.

With the maven we can have a plethora of new posters. Because like Reddit with their communities , maven has something called channels . So if someone is checking out the black wealth channel or the roaming millennial channel, or shit even the blue lives matter channel, they might be inclined to check the Allhiphop channel.

ok, so I just got the link to the Android beta (for the tech heads, it's technically pre-Beta, or a closed alpha test release). the iOS beta is basically complete, but the Android beta requires actionable feedback. what that means is, it's not finished yet, there are problems with it, and any and all issues that we have, we gotta let the Maven tech guys know about.

Greg and I have to talk about it, but expect access anywhere from later this evening to later this week. I'll keep y'all posted.

Does the link need to be input on a desktop ? I tried it from my phone in chrome and selected my email address but it goes straight to the app screen and then stops loading.

the engineers have to load ppl individually, bc it's still a closed beta atm. to do so, they need our gmail addresses.
