again, I'm not happy about losing the community in order to create a larger community, but it wasn't my call to make. I do see where the line of thinking comes from...
You’re 100% but in hindsight they coulda waited at the same time instead of taking the community for granted. I wish they asked us mods about opinions but it looks like they just tell us what they are gonna do through you without even asking about our input also. At the end of the day followers need to follow someone. Just hope they ain’t behind the curve this time.
the feedback was presented, very thoroughly and articulately, I made sure of that myself. on paper, most of Stew's and Sion's suggestions were followed, or are in the pipeline, but the reality...is totally different. I thought that after the "soft launch" in August, that feedback would be incorporated, and in December we'd see a far better product, THEN decide whether to make the switch or not. what actually happened was, December came, nothing had changed, and then all of a sudden, we had to move, no choice in the matter. the week before Christmas at that.
