Good lookin. Kinda overdoing it with a press conference just for a signing or whatever. Probably some major record company that approached Ross with an artist and worked out another "Pill situation" again. Happens all the time in the industry while rappers act like they actually find and sign all the artist on their roster. No hate though more power to him.

Nothing wrong with having joint deals, Nas did it with Columbia/Def Jam for the first two albums he did on Def Jam, but you are right about Warner doing the distribution for the label and him being signed to Def Jam as a solo artist.

They pulled off a bloodless coup over there at Def Jam with Joie Manda going from WB to Def Jam....gonna be interesting!

I see alot more southern acts continueing to get signed i worked with JoIE @asylum he signed lil flip while i was there lol

and it was nothing but southern artist on that label @ the time the only east or even west coast artist were Camron and Jim Jones was head of A&R .. lol
