I thought the thread said "mixtape rapper of the decade", meaning quality of the mixtape which is an oxymoron in itself. I can't believe we are the point in hiphop where niggas are rating mixtapes like it means anything, most of these supermixtape niggas can't make albums to save their lives (aside from Clipse and a few others).

50 Cent - Just based off the amount of people that were willing to sit thru whooooooooooooo kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid and gunshots every 2 seconds. He had the most annoying DJ on his mixtapes and people still copped em.

Mixtapes are just as much a part of hip hop as albums. You've never heard a hot beat and said "i wonder how "x" would sound on this beat" or "this sounds like something "x" would kill"? But its really hilarious that you go on to mention the clipse...:rofl...now thats an oxymoron...

Getwitcha

Chamillionaire

Not only did he have some of the best mixtapes in the past decade, but you can also see his growth as an emcee/artist

through the decade it has to be Chamillionaire .... since 98 Chamillionaires mixtapes wit Swishahouse got him buzz then with the Mixtape Messiah series and now with the Major Pain ... its no doubt Chamillionaire has been the best of the decade ...

I remember seein on youtube one radio station got more requestions for Chamillionaires freestyle to the Milli beat than Lil Wayne did for his own song ....
