Beyond sad. RIP to that poor child. If they just had to steal the car, why didn't they put the kid out when they realized he was in it? That's what usually happens. IDK about not charging the mother with something. I know her reality now is much worse than lockup but it should be on the record in case something should come up in her future in regards to parenting.

i cant imagine how this mother feels right now. when my oldest son was about 3 or 4 we were in the mall and I stopped to look at some sneakers. I took my eyes off him and lil dude jetted into a toy store. I looked back and he was gone. I started to panic but found him in the toy store. if something would have happened to him I would have just walked in front of train or jumped off a roof. she made a mistake that she has to live with for the rest of her life. a burden no parent should have to carry.
