this was a lower budget(wacker) version of the Bernie Mac show IMO...Epps better get his shit together cuz if he bombs that Pryor movie like he bombed this i don't wanna hear shit from him about any other comedian in the game...he's had his moments to shine and couldn't capitalize...im not puttin all of this on him cuz honestly the movie Uncle Buck was a cult classic and to bring it back with an all black cast was a dumb idea from the start buuuuuuuuuuut...he was bought in to carry the show and it looks like he dropped the ball

I don't understand how any comedian could intentianlky do unfunny shit. I watch a little of that first episode and it was bad joke after bad joke.

A lot if the times it's them signing on to an idea, all they know is a basic plot. Then the show starts developing with writers and it may or may not turn out how they want, but they are contractually obligates to continue on with it even if they hate it.

if you saw the movie, you should've known the show was doomed when they condensed an entire movie plot into the pilot episode

I remember hearing this about Malcolm and Eddie they would go back and rewrite lines butwouldn't get writing credits
