As much as I love Hendrix he isn't fckin with the King man. A lot of the JIMI legend is more his flair and style on top of his guitar skills in my opinion. MJ was the total package to me. Folks been tryin to be like Mike for decades word to Justin, CB, Omarion and all these other folks just to name a few.

Yeah but part of being an "artist" is performance and nobody can perform like Michael Jackson. For two reasons;

The first reason is because nobody can command the stage like Michael Jackson

The second reason is that very few artists/singers/musicians have as many hits as Michael Jackson. MJ has hits from when he was a kid on Motown (I Want You Back came out in 1969) all the way up to the 90s. He can perform #1 songs for an hour. Most artists can't do that.

I ain't ever tried to have dreads or play the piano, but I know i've been tryin to figure out that smooth criminal lean shit my whole life. I'm a grown ass man, I still moonwalk when I got on socks on the hardwood. I can go on youtube and see people fainting in this man's presence. He put the "We are the world" collective together, and was the star of stars by many accounts. He's sold 100 million worldwide from one album, probably more than hendrix and stevie combined and doubled. I saw the whole world stop when he died. I don't know, some things you just can't quantify. MJ impact was immeasurable.

Stevie can play the shit outta multiple instruments live. I saw him in october he played around 4 or 5 different instruments outside singing.

If MJ had to write 75 yo 80% of his songs like stevie he wouldn't have as many hits. Thats why again as an artist Stevie >>> MJ. Imagine if tomorrow you heard biggie or nas only wrote 15% of their bars. Niggas would riot and go crazy.
