Isn't that "Leave Me Alone" song on the album too? One of my all-time favorites, and most slept on Mike Jack song as well.

Yeah... a bonus track on the album

I don't think "Bad" is praised like "Off The Wall" and "Thriller" because it doesn't age as well. Its a great album, but its very "80's". Its too much a product of its time and doesn't transcend it's era like his other albums...including "Dangerous" and even "HiStory".

Also, "Bad" is faaaar from the "most successful tour of all time". Its not even top 5. The Rolling Stones, Madonna, and U2 have smashed that record a couple times....by a lot!

i never really liked Bad like that. i think its a bit overrated, dont really care how many number ones he had or how much his tour made.....outta the 'big four' MJ albums, i skip the most songs of this album and those songs are "speed demon" and "just good friends".

my favorite mj album is: dangerous > thriller > off the wall >>>>>> bad

^^^ what he said. Great songs, but as a complete work this album is very dated.

This is Mike's 3rd best album to me. Actually, every time I look at the track list of all his albums its hard to rate. Some days its Off the Wall=Thriller then Bad=Dangerous. Only thing that's for certain is that Off the Wall and Thriller are 1 and 2.

Let me help you out...

Dangerous > Bad all day.

There you go.

Thriller is no doubt his super classic, followed by Off The Wall as his 2nd classic.

Bad was honestly sub par, I would say it's the album I enjoy the least. I'm 23, I've been listening to Bad since it came out, yeah I was really young but I don't have a home video where it wasn't playing in the background.

Maybe for me, it's played out.

My fav. MJ albums are Dangerous and HIStory. These were fantastic, the production for Dangerous was super dope.

Thriller is his most successful album... and of course his most played out album... the songs are etched in your memory like anthems, that's why I haven't taken a huge liking to it...

But a lot of you here have criticised Bad for sounding dated... Yep, that's the way I like it... You feel it influenced Kanye with 808's...

And Bad still has the record of producing the most successful tour off ONE album.. check the facts

Any word on if the bad tour will be released on DVD?

I guess it should be... from the little I saw of it on TV, it was sheer dopeness

That "record" doesn't even make sense?

Today I'm inclined to agree with you but tomorrow Liberian Girl & Dirty Diana may disagree.

Niggas is crazy... The Bad album is Michael's best album to me. The album has his greatest songs to me on there... Another Part of Me, Man In The Mirror, Liberian Girl, Bad, and the special edition with Fly Away and Streetwalker on there. classics

BAD is one of my all time favorite's, not just one of my favorite MJ albums but, my all time favorites period!
"Bad", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Leave Me Alone", "Smooth Criminal", "Dirty Diana", "I Just Can't Stop Loving You", "Man In The Mirror", "Another Part Of Me" and "Liberian Girl" were hits, only two songs on the album, "Just Good Friends" and "Speed Demon" wasn't that big. That's 11 songs on the album and 9 are hits and it went 8 times platinum!
Thriller had 9 songs on the album and 7 were hits, "Wanna Be Startin' Something", "P.Y.T.(Pretty Young Thing)", "Human Nature", "Thriller", "Billie Jean", "Beat It" and "The Girl Is Mine" were hits while "Baby Be Mine" and "The Lady In My Life" wasn't that big.
Look at Off The Wall, it only had 10 songs and 6 were hits, "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough", "Rock With You", "Off The Wall", "She's Out Of My Life", "Workin' Day and Night" and "I Can't Help It" were hits but, "Get On The Floor", "Girlfriend", "It's The Falling In Love" and "Burn This Disco Out" wasn't that big.
So too me, THRILLER and BAD are his two classics.

I wish they had put 'Fly Away" and "Streetwalker" on the original BAD album, those two have become favorites of mines when I heard them.
On Thriller re-release they had some unreleased songs on there too that should have been on the original, "Got The Hots", "For All Time" and "P.Y.T. Demo Version".
