its not the fans....... in the 90s hip hop implimented what they called KEEP IT REAL in the 90s ........... thats where all of this comes from ... not saying dudes from the 90s are the most thoro cats ... but imo thats why it came out in the 90s cause alot of cats were fronting even back then ..... KEEP IT REAL !!
