its hard to tell if this will work in Obamas favor in 2012.the right will do everything in their power to discredit Obama. And you have to remember their are a whole lot of ppl out here who do not like the fact that there is a black man in office. there is a whole movement to get him out of office perhaps this victory will change the tide.

It always comes down to the economy. If jobs are being created next year, Obama is a lock. He's already a relatively popular incumbent, if you compare his ratings to other incumbent presidents. Killing Osama really destroys a lot of the Republican platform, since they've been traditionally the tough guys with national security.
