I just don't see the phuckin benefit in getting married. seems more like a bullshit binding business arrangement ( Circa 93 Death Row Records contract) then a mutually spiritual union these days.

This was the basis of an article in the Atlantic. I do not buy it personally. Men still dominate all the important fields. Just because women are earning arts degrees worth less than nothing in greater numbers than men does not mean men are really fizzling out as some speculate.

It just depends on the person and the couple really. It's not all about being some deep spiritual union for me. I just know I love my wife and don't really feel like chasing after a bunch of other chicks. In other words, I was ready to just be with one person, so making it official wasn't a big deal.

That said, I can understand why some people don't want to bother. It's like I tell anyone who asks me. Being married and having kids is easy if you are ready for it and are with someone that's ready for it, but if either of you aren't marriage material and you're just sitting there trying to force it, it's going to be the worst thing on earth.

I forget what tribe it is, but its one in Africa where the teen boys put white paint all over their body and are separated from everyone for like a week and then finally wash it off after the week goes by. They return as 'a man' after they do that ritual. Maybe we should do something similar so there's no more confusion about this

Whenever I talk to older men about marriage, most of them say "Don't do it" or "Take your time as possible." At this point having a kid would be financial and lifestyle (no vacation trips) burden on me.

I wouldn't say "Don't dot it" unless I knew you well enough to know you weren't built for marriage. "Take your time" is good counsel though. And having a kid is a burden, but again that depends on where you are in your life. If you still like to be in the club every weekend and doing your own thing on your own time, then having a kid is stupid. If your life is a little more settled, then having a kid isn't that big a strain. That said, your support system makes a big difference because having parents or siblings that can take your child every now and then and give you some free time means a hell of a lot.

women actually teaches the men how to be men and men teaches women how to be women.. With the split in sexuality today where men wan to go to war and team up against women, is why they have a lot of missing knowledge. Homeboys fathers and uncles can't really teach you everything about your manhood. Men learn how to be a man in relationships with women.. as long as most of the men see the women as some threat against them, then I guess the battle of the sexes and war between men and women will divide the true unity of oneness that they suppose to have..

for some odd reason I guess men are like this because they think women are like this. Most women do not even like other women, so we don't c/s women because they are women.. men seem to think different, as if "because it's another man I'm taking his side"..

When we were mananaging horn fields and cattle, we had to marry and make children so as a result we could transmitt those fields and ensure the continuity of the agricol society.

Now we live in towns , cities. Sex is available without marriage. And since women have money,super sex toys and can have children with the help of science, there is no place for the biblical man.
