Why would Drake fabricate a beef?

What sense does that make.

Ya'll acting like the industry never stages fake relationships, incidents, and beefs for publicity. 50 cent and Kanye's feud been called out by other rappers for being fake years ago. That whole Taylor Swift/Kanye feud over him interrupting her @ the VMA's was staged. The public don't know what goes on behind closed doors. The meek/drake beef just seem extra fake to me.

the difference is that in those beefs nothing that could definitely damage their careers was dropped.

the beef with meek could've easily gone the other way, and destroyed his career, with the ghostwriting shit.
