Gold album for sure
@black jerry maguire

did wale ever make it to gold or did he stall out in the 400,000's somewhere

He's at 419K just moved 2,800 units down -4, "Sabotage" is getting spins and he's doing Hot 97 Summer Jam & also the

KMEL Summer Jam in Cali so I agree that his visibility could help him get to Gold over a period of time but I'd like to see a few more guerilla visuals of the album.

Top 200 Album's 05/09/2012

He was at 400k like 2 months ago, he should be right in between domestically. I'm sure he is gold worldwide by now, he has a following in the UK.

stop making up certification there is no worldwide gold or plat, and gold is 500k shipped not sold , you mean he sold 500k worldwide and i doubt he did

Wale kept interrupting the negotiation meetings talmbout "He signed yet? MMG R-O-C we heavy outchea. *silence* Aight then I'll come back later. Meek, I see you dawg. Ambition still in stores."

Whats up with all of these joint deals? i.e. French Montana, Wale etc. There's alot of hands in the Pot of these rappers.

They're not really joint deals. It's no different than if they were managed by Hip-Hop Since 1978 or Violator, etc. French's album might be the only one thats an actual joint deal. But I'm not completely sure about that either, it might just be ross exec producing it.

smart move roc management gets the big sponsorship contracts and they artist move #s when the drop ask j cole . i thinking meek will out sell ross this year

you just WANT him to outsell ross this year

I think being managed by Roc Nation as an artist is just strategic in a sense to get inside "Live Nation" which I'm pretty sure has their hands heavy in tours, great promotion, television and everything else

who woulda thought the same YouTube rapper with the fuzzy braids I use to watch in high school would be where he is today, congratz

Roc Nation has been making a lot of moves behind the scenes, especially on the producer side (signed or managing Stargate, Jahil Beats, No Id, James Fauntleroy II, Ester Dean)

Yeah, I knew most of the producers too... That's a pretty loaded line-up though.

I think this is a smart move by Meek, but I really don't see him outselling Ross. He'll outsell Wale probably, go a little over gold, but not too much more.

But then again, has Ross gone platinum yet? According to wikipedia, he hasn't...

nope, i think GFID will be his chance if ever

Nah, I honestly don't see him ever going platinum. He's industry hot, and just like B.o.B, singles do not reflect album sales.

I think it's gonna be hard to get a gauge on how meek will sell. Not sure what type of radio single he's going to have. Plus Meek got more of a street following than Wale but i'm not sure if that will translate into more sells.

it will be interesting. I think the singles that end up coming out of Volume 2 will set the stage for Meek
