he gone fuck around and drown in it... the responses have exposed 2 key things : 1) he can dish it but gets rattled when its returned..not a good look 2) he gets undeserved props for being deep because he rambles but when u step in the battle zone lil tricks like that dont work... and he uses a lot of cheap emcee tricks..niggas been calling him on it. he better just stay humble

How does he get rattled?

i allready answered that

I just noticed dun...

1. How has he shown that he was rattled by any response?

2. I don't remember him ever rambling for the sake of rapping.

He back tracked on the KONY line in interviews hard. Joell Ortiz and Papoose got under his skin.

Did he? Because when I first heard the song I automatically thought he made a reference to Biggie aka Frank White which Big would call himself which was a nod to the main character in the movie "King of New York" after making a reference to Pac, with the offspring of Mackeveli line. He didn't backtrack, he clarified for the simple minds, or for the ones who don't know their hip hop.

No...youd have to be simple minded to accept that. He said those words. Its his job to make shit clear. He made 64 aggressive bars so it would be dumb NOT to take into context with the rest of the verse..... its not like people are too stupid to understand... hes too egotistical to admit he made a faux pas

Exactly why he said he might have to dumb down his lyrics. Rappers use metaphors all day long to showcase their ability to manipulate words, yet in this instant, he was deadly serious? He paid homage to 3 rappers in 1 bar, and you refuse to hear it. You think it's both ways but it's not.

he used KURUPTS words for one... for two i actually study poetry and songwriting..like seriously academically. the parts im mentioning and the entire context built had nothing to do with the goddamn metaphors... that nigga is not that deep lol.. u cant have it both ways that the verse was good for its confrontational tone yet try to downplay that like its some higher meaning to it other than another way of saying the same tired ass complaints about the industry/rapper trends with the bottom line of "we cool...somewhat...im better than you niggas".... if you wanna talk dope wordplay then look at jay elcts shit.. that went ALL THE WAY over niggas heads because its ACTUALLY DEEP and not pseudo-deep..thats K. Dots schtick... pseudo-deepness

ok song, wack as Meek Yelling is, but wack diss. dude is so overrated.

Kendrink King over these dudes.

Kendrick can't loose this battle. He didn't set up a battle for rappers to come back with dis songs, he set a competition for the crown wish they should compete for his spot.

Kendrick is Obama, the response songs are the republicans taking shots. The dumb republicans just talk, the smart one will make sure a democrat will not be in office next term. these rappers ain't smart.

each dis song MAKES KENDRICK BIGGER.

Here I am thinking Judah one of them enlightened niggas, then he had the nerve to say Kendrick spits a lot of filler like Meek don't. He takin everything K. Dot said on "Control" literally smh.

Niggas needs step they critical thinking game up

u got me all fucked up, homie... they both use filler. when it comes to the stuff outside the filler kendrick is better. this is in the realm of general song writing. battling is really some separate shit. youre not seeing my point that when u get into the realm of confrontation in a field dominated by egos then there is no explaining away some "deeper" meaning... if a nigga come at you with a mean mug, raised voice and giving u body language cues he wanna fight then u really aint trying to inerpret the words hes saying too deeply... battling dont work like that. its more visceral than normal song writing in most cases. say what u want but its some hoe ass nigga shit in my sight to put out a challenge like that and adress responses to it OUT OF THE BOOTH.. dont start none wont be none

But Obama dont run shit in actualkity... he has sponsors and bosses who dictates his moves. Moreover, the Republicans done gave that nigga more heat than just words. Apt metaphor though cause in both cases THEY REALLY ALL ON THE SAME FUCKING SIDE.. think about it

i love that meek did this...he gained a bunch of respect from me.

as for the verse it was aight, but then again Kendricks Control verse wasnt all that either, so i guess it balances out

oh and imma say what the rest of yall are apparently scared to. if kendrick dont respond on wax, he is a PUSSY. dont wanna hear that, "kendrick aint gon respond to irrelevant niggas" shit either, cuz Meek aint that

Dudes in here hollering bout Meek could have came harder. Yeah iight, so why didn't he. Kendrick came for them niggas head so what make niggas think any of them that respond shouldn't come with the same energy. This the best ya'll gone get from Meek, stop fooling ya'll selves

Bruh.

It takes literally 5 minutes to search YouTube and find some decent battle material from Meek, and he just came with a decent jacking for beats diss on Cass yesterday. Have you even listened to a Meek mixtape?

Kendrick is not battle hardened at all. That is not to say he is incapable, but this shit is right up Meek's alley.

Niggas can sit there and complain about him sonicly (his yelling) all day, but that is a matter of opinion. Ya'll gotta take this shit objectively.

"Battle hardened"?

Nigga

Every rapper got battle bars in they pen and pad. All my rapper niggas, including me, know what Im talkin bout.

I used to move around hoping a nigga say he a rapper just so I can shit on him wit #BARSSS

nah that hoe ass shit to me.. its not a real battle or a cypher if u got pre-writtens... niggas will stunt like that forever but its still not right. and i allways destroy niggas with pre-writtens. especially when i see how they tryna use stock shit and mix it with lame ass off the dome filler.

That's how battles have always worked though. Rarely have there ever been100% off the head freestyle battles. Most rappers, even when they appear to be freestyling, are still pulling from lines they wrote already nobody just may have heard them before.

Not bad, Bruh just need to work on his vocals, all that hollering shit on his album and mixtapes ain't Whoa

LMAO @ this comment on the video

Jay Elec's verse reminds me of Jay-z's verses on Renegade. Subtle but packed with a lot of substance. A lot of listeners that were saying Jay Elec got killed were just prisoners of the moment imo.

Meek wasn't even Top 5 out of Philly in terms of battle shit. Niggas over Glorify his battle days. Dudes like Reed, Joey Jihad, Kaboom, Eddie Morris, Cyssero, Reign Man, NH even Frankie with the Grippas was actually tearing shit up on the Battle Tip.

And if I'm wrong somebody Post a Battle where Meek went off.

Negro, we are not talking about you. I have no knowledge what so ever of your lyrical ability. You could be the next Hov, but that shit is way irrelevant.

Saying every rap nigga walks around with battle bars handy is silly. You think niggas like 2Chainz is walking around with their writtens just incase? Hell, you think Big Sean is ready to pull on the fly? And I'm not saying Kendrick is that type of dude by a long shot. I'm just acknowledging the reality of shit. These industry niggas are a new breed of rap nigga. Their focus has shifted dramatically from competitive battle raps and substantial music, to catchy songwriting and trends. If this wasn't the case, we wouldn't even be talking about Kendrick's Control verse.

So when you get a nigga like Meek, who was actually brought up through that shit, its worth noting. If we go through YouTube, you can find videos of young ass Meek Mill tearin' shit up. Can we do the same for Kendrick Lamar? Maybe, but not nearly to the same degree.

Again, nobody is sayin' out right Meek will wash Kendrick. I honestly think it would be a pretty even match. But ya'll niggas are trying so hard to make it seem like the opposite is a sure thing, when there isn't shit supporting that.

I just appreciate the fact that he responded....it was a cool song....I like how they flipped forgot about Dre....
