To be honest at first I was thinking hmmmmm he could be right even though I did not like MP but was in TN at the time and he was everywhere.

I also did not care for Tupac around this time. I just couldnt relate at the time cause I was just coming out The BX and thought he was corny. I ended up appreciating it more years later.

All that being said P did bite Pac as did alot of artist after his death. When he was around not so many but when he past they took that Thug Life thing and made it a retarded version of him.

I respect P though cause his movement was huge at that time.

As far as this thread topic..... Pac's first two albums were not that good at all. I NEVER like Master P so I can't agree on his shit being better. But it is funny how ppl rush in here thinking this is a shock thread cuz Pac's name was mentioned with P's. 2Pacalypse and Strictly were VERY mediocre. A song or two were ok but thats it. The list of ppl with first 2 albums better than Pacs is a looooong one. Doesn't mean that their career or they themselves were better. Just that Pac's first 2 don't hold water.

When I was coming up all we bumped up here in Michigan is No Limit. With that being said there is NO WAY in hell that CITTG is the best no limit album. Its not better than P's Ice Cream Man & Ghetto D, Mystikal Unpredictable, TRU, C-Murder Life Or Death, ANY of Mia X's albums and I DARE U to prove me different cuz i'll start pullin out tracks

Being on subject, I agree that Pac's first two weren't classics and they only hold so much value cuz of his late work. Yes there are a lot of rappers that their first two albums are better than Pacs first two. But honestly what does this thread prove????

I am the first one to say Pac is hella overrated and he was never a gangsta only acted the part. But his career cannot be denied. Did it get a boost from his death... yes. But so did Elvis, the Beatles, Biggie, Nirvana, and most recently Michael Jackson. All great artists that got an even bigger boost after death (though MJ was already THE established GOAT).

thank u homie. the threadstarter didn't make any sense with what he was tryin to prove. Him thinking that P's first two albums were ICM and Ghetto D had him in the WTF category to me anyway. I also agree that Pac wasn't the Thug or gangsta he put himself to be. Him tryin to run with them LA niggas got him killed. But we cannot deny his talent as one of the best to grace the mic.
