Where the fuck is season 2?
Just finished. Started off strong but second half was mad average. Like the overall black empowerment vibe, the dope music. But some of the characters overacting (the guy with the shades need to got) and the fight scenes are turrible. Wooden as hellll. Overall still give it a 7 just for the fact that it's the most black folks I've seen in a mainstream show, the women looking right and the message is dope.

Man this show was blacker than blacker than black. With the music and story this felt like 13 episodes of Shaft. I see why them white folks was mad and why my white coworker kept asking me questions about who was who. I haven't read through the thread but I'm surprised I haven't seen y'all calling anybody a coon.
This show touched on pretty much everything going on in the black community and brought arguments for both sides to make you think. I damn near expected the Dips to pop up on an episode. This wasn't better than Daredevil or Jessica Jones imo, but this was dope. I did want them to atleast have someone besides Claire appear on this show. Like Matt and Foggy coming to defend Luke or something, but aye can't have it all.

He isn't that strong but all the MCU characters are nerfed from their comic counter parts. Well except Cap they made him even more powerful. Jessica is aslo able to fly and is much stronger than she's shown same with Cage. They're even more nerfed due to the Netflix budget.

Yeah the budget really hurts characters with powers. DD and Punisher are easier to do.

His strength is a side effect of his durability not the other way around like most people with super strength.
He's more like the Thing than he is the Hulk

I wish the actor that played Cottonmouth played Diamondback. He's a much better actor and villain. That laugh at unexpected times was dope.
They would have had to give him a better costume to fight Luke in though. I know it was a throwback to the comic, but that shit looked bad.
