I would like to know where he came to the number of $750. After charging what he did. I have no issue with increasing the price but come on, that's a pretty big jump.

I agree, I'll never excuse raising the price that high. That was the worst part of the interview for him, though he does give most of the drug away for free, he's still hurting a lot of people that can't afford that much a pill

It sounds good and logical but keep a few things in mind.

1. People aren't paying for this pill, insurance companies are

2. Anyone who was getting that pill is still getting it now

3. The money gained from the profit Can be put into research and development to produce better drugs

People have this idea that some old lady is going to a drug counter with her last 18 bucks for a pill and being told its 750 and she goes home and dies because she can't afford it. That is not the case.

I'm not caping for dude, but the way i see it, all companies operate this way. Why isn't asprin free or why isn't everything beneficial to people free?

He taking money from the insurance companies fat pockets. Not the person. The story is being flipped that way, but it's not legit. They just don't like people that come from nothing to make something and trick them at their own game.
