The contract is not nearly as binding. While we do have laws governing the increasingly popular common law marriages many 'dating' relationships are really just based on tacit agreements as opposed to the iron like marriage contracts/promises.

Marriage isn't for everyone. Lol, its for people that are friends, lovers, sex partners, business partners, etc. Your lives have to meld, your plans have to parallel and you have to have your own lives with numerous reasons to come together. Sex, business, family, vacation, leisure, and your dreams and passions should be enough to keep you all enjoying your love and each other. Full communication, make your own rules, involve very few, make friends with people who can carry their own and help yours while you help theirs.
