I think people, actually I know people seem to think being a thug or gangsta makes you real when that isn't further from the truth.

Yes there are real niggas who happen to be gangsters but in reality being a gangster don't make you any more real than a nigga who ain't.

With that said Pac could still be real without being a gangster.

Fif put in more work on the streets than pac ever did and niggas have vouched for it.No ballerina pics,No art schools,no tough guy facade after a movie role.Pac groupies are more brainwashed than those idiot christian jesus freaks

And People Vouch for Pac's activity too...Using A nigga being smart and going to art schools as A reason he wasn't real shows ignorance..Like All "real niggas" are dumb and talentless or some shit

I said nothing of the sort.Pac put no work in period. He was an artistic poetic suspect homo teen who wanted to put homeless people in the white house and was repulsed by calling girls the b word then was a roadie for digital underground. He blew after juice and switched his whole style up.Started assaulting niggas, catching cases left n right, starts gangbangin in his mid 20's,created that dumb ass thug life acronym that made NO sense and yelling thuglife then got locked. He was very smart and acting ignorant and perpetuating the ignorant mentality/behavior that hold blacc males down proves my point he was an actor.Raheem from juice said pac was listening to les miserables when he 1st met him.People who knew pac are on record saying pac changed and kept that bishop role after juice. They have way more credibility than any of you groupies sorry

I heard People vouch for Pac and saying he was Always rebellious,A scrapper and was never afraid to run up on A nigga and chin check 'em.before the fame...And when you look at his rap sheet after he became famous..outside of the Case where he shot the 2 people and that rape situation..He was getting arrested for fist fights my nigga..and that 1 assault where he went upside A nigga's head with A baseball bat..So the shit he got arrested for after he got famous was shit he was basically doing before he got famous...But nobody gave a fuck enough to arrest him for them because nobody knew who he was.

Black Mafia killed Suge's best friend before Pac joined Death Row?

@‌tsanford

Why yes, by Puff's man Wolf...who was Puff's co-D in the J Lo shooting...who was also there when they jumped Jimy at the Rucker...who was later killed by Big Meach and is one of the reaosn sMeach is currently in jail for maybe the rest of his life.

6 degrees of speration like a mfer.

And i say all that to say this: if you dont know ALL these things relating to Suge/Puff/Pac, dont tell me 'its wrestling' and Pac was "acting". This shyt was real.

Here is in Puffy's own words how the East coast-West coast beef started. Vibe article from 95:

Biggie & Puffy Break Their Silence -- '95 VIBE Cover Story [PG.3]

While Tupac was taking shots at Biggie—claiming he’d bit his “player style and sound—Suge was cooking up his own beef with Bad Boy. At the Source Awards in August 1995, Suge made the now legendary announcement, “If you don’t want the owner of your label on your album or in your video or on your tour, come sign with Death Row.” Obviously directed at Puffy’s high-profile role in his artists’ careers, the remark came as a shock. “I couldn’t believe what he said,” Puffy recalls. “I thought we was boys.” All the same, when it came time for Puffy to present an award, he said a few words about East-West unity and made a point of hugging the recipient, Death Row artist Snoop Doggy Dogg.

Nonetheless, Suge’s words spread like flu germs, reigniting ancient East-West hostilities. It was in this increasingly tense atmosphere that Big and the Junior M.A.F.I.A. clique reached Atlanta for Jermaine Dupri’s birthday party last September. During the after-party at a club called Platinum House, Suge Knight’s close friend Jake Robles was shot. He died at the hospital a week later. Published reports said that some witnesses claimed a member of Puffy’s entourage was responsible.{Later Confirmed as Wolf}

At the mention of the incident, Puffy sucks his teeth in frustration. “Here’s what happened,” he says. “I went to Atlanta with my son. At that time, there wasn’t really no drama. I didn’t even have bodyguards, so that’s a lie that I did. I left the club, and I’m waiting for my limo, talking to girls. I don’t see [Suge] go into the club; we don’t make any contact or nothing like that. He gets into a beef in the club with some niggas. I knew the majority of the club, but I don’t know who he got into the beef with, what it was over, or nothing like that. All I heard is that he took beef at the bar. I see people coming out. I see a lot of people that I know, I see him, and I see everybody yelling and screaming and shit. I get out the limo and I go to him like, ‘What’s up, you all right?’ I’m trying to see if I can help him. That’s my muthafuckin’ problem, Puffy says, pounding his fist into his palm in frustration. “I’m always trying to see if I can help somebody.

Anyways, I get out facing him, and I’m like, ‘What’s going on, what’s he problem?’ Then I hear shtos ringing out, and we turn around and someone’s standing right behind me. His man—God bless the dead—gets shot, and he’s on the floor. My back was turned; I could’ve got shot, and he could’ve got shot. But right then he was, like, ‘I think you had something to do with this.’ I’m, like, ‘What are you talking about? I was standing right here with you!’ I really felt sorry for him, the the sense that if he felt that way, he was showing me his insecurity.”

After the Atlanta shooting, people on both coasts began speculating. Would there be retribution? All-out war? According to a New York Times Magazine cover story, Puffy sent Louis Farrakhan’s son, Mustafa, to talk with Suge. Puffy says he did not send Mustafa but did tell him, “If there’s anything you can do to put an end to this bullshit, I’m with it.” The Times reported that Suge refused to meet with Mustafa. Suge has since declined to speak about his friend’s murder.

i would agree gangbangers and gangsters are different. gang bangin is really to protect a territory. a gang banger can become a gangster if they get involved in organized crime. in other words if a gang starts to supply cats weight from nj to md they are now gangsters. if they just on the block waiting to ride on the niggas across town or everyone is for self and selling nickles and dimes then they are gang banging.

the word gangster is for organized crime. u have to be doing something on a scale that a person by himself could not do. so u need to be bigger than a hustla.

u can call pac a G in a the sense of respect if u think he kicks some real street knowledge. i never heard of him to roll with a crime ring though that was getting it. u can say his attitude was gangsta or his image was gangsta but him being a gangsta...he has to be involved with a crime ring. thats the only true gangsta

Now I see the other reason why Suge signed Pac to Death Row. That was a smart & dope ass business decision. They both needed each other to take out Bad Boy

Alot of people who knew Pac have said this about him. Also many who said they saw Pac the night of his death all seem to say when they saw him with Suge they 1. All got a bad feeling and 2. Hint that Pac had a demeanor about him that he didn't want to be around Suge that night

If pac gave them that same look he had in that last pic he took in the car with suge then I could see why they said that cuz even in that pic he looked like he knew something bad was coming.....and marlon is a foo for the quote about his hands and eyelashes lol

Pac signing to death row was the end of him. That was a death wish coming for him.Even the outlawz and fredo starr who was close with pac told them he wanted out.

Wow, didn't hear about that

Pac ain't a gangster, but he did shoot two cops

Kinda, 2pac was a G in many ways and shooting those cops, right or wrong, was a G move. That's more street cred then most rappers can ever dream of.

That' not entirely true. Pac was known for scrapping way before the fame. You seem to know a lot about Pac, so I'm sure you didn't just conveniently skip over the parts about his life that mentioned his antics before he was famous. Even the story that about how he stood up to an entire club by himself as a teenager when he was in some random state and they were about to pull guns on him until someone intervened, sounds like something he would've done during his fame years. I'm not saying I completely disagree with you, but it seems as if you're purposely slanting it to one side just to make a point. I believe he got stuck in that role, but like Terrence Howard said...."in order to play these roles, you have to have that in you already...Denzel really has that Training Day character in him, Halle Berry really has those characters in her".

If we're going to sum up Pac's entire life by the few relatively calm years he had at the performing arts school and disregard everything else between 88-96, then we should judge other notorious figures under the same criteria. That means Suge should be remembered as an aspiring football player who's mom gave him the nickname "Sugar" because of his "sweet disposition". Rayful Edmonds should be remembered as the as the bright all star kid during his teens, he was never a trouble maker or had record until he got in the drug game. Freeway Ricky Ross should be remembered as an aspiring tennis player during his teenage years who stayed out of trouble. Hitler should be remembered as a soft spoken vegan aspiring painter during his teens and early adulthood, and Alpo should be remembered as the good kid that went to military school and was the token black kid at this white families house. Most people that knew them were also surprised by their outcomes. Humans are complex, it's hard to really figure people out for the most part. Some of Pac's appeal is that he's hard to figure out, so the mystery aspect keeps people's intrigued, and I believe he's also disliked for that same reason because it's not easy for some people to box him in one specific category....people tend to hate what they can't understand. Dude was obviously crazy, so I'm not doubting that he was capable of being a poetry writing/nose ring wearing/happy go lucky/cop shooting/ quick tempered/fearless/fight loving/mama's boy/alcholic/gun loving/actor/revolutionary all rolled into one person lol. We all meet layered people like this in our day to day lives, so why do people act like Pac is some type of anomaly lol?

Marlon wayans the black hand n shit.. He like the nigga that killed uncle Charles.. And I miss my uncle Charles y'all.. I heard stories about PACs generous side. Rosie Perez told a good story of him being there for her..

A revolutionary huh? Okay, what "revolution" did he start? LMAO again fame is a mutha..

A gangsta who started getting a criminal record when he made a record? Other rappers = fake, 2pac post death = "nah bro u dont understand he did it so black people wouldnt have to go thru that *sniff*". Thats it?

A thug who barked at innocent cats but quiet when confronted? Only 2pac could get a W as a "THUG" for fighting MOVIE DIRECTORS - which he again allegedly didnt tell the accurate story on..

Fame is a mutha..post death is a mutha.

Great artist, talented man but again for people to no-sign my previous post about the hood/hip-hops definition of fake then hes fake is funny as hell. Cuz other rappers are the devil according to fans or super fake. 2pac? Not. Even tho he was lol. Funny.

If yall gonna make justifications for Pac make the same for everybody else. Or how about NOT making justifications or blame on ANY rapper? Dont say Rick Ross fake either..maybe he came from a political background bros? lol.

Bogus. Pac was a entertainer. Thats it. Stop catching feelings about it. Dude was a sensitive (i am too, nothing wrong with that.) dude who wasnt about that life at all, despite what his publicist at the time wrote to make hm more appealing as a "gangsta rapper", right MC New York? Lol.

@‌loch121

Silly huh? Okay, so if my pops is a mechanic i am too? Talk about silly lmao. What revolution did he start? Tell me. Oww, you mean like Public Enemy, Poor Righteous Teacher, Dead Prez, KRS - all of whom got shit or dont get AS MUCH respect for it (neither did 2pac, until he died lmao) even though they CONSISTANTELY? Foh lol. Revolutionary rapper whos 80-90% of material is about the same shit that was going on while he blew which was thug/gangsta rap? Maybe Spice 1 was concious too bro? Lol.

Ya live in a fantasy world for real. Yall are too emotionally attached to dude thats it. Its like kids who dont know better. Most of yall grew up during the post death days so telling the truth about him doesnt register with yall. Its like exposing that Santa isnt real lol.

Btw, i recently talked with a dude on social media who tried to say that 2pac was a "civil rights activist"!!! LMAO. This is what POST DEATH does!! So 2pac was a civil rights activist? By doing what exactly? Lol.

I will say that talking with 2pac stans post death is the funniest and most ridiculous thing. Great for laughs tho.

At the end of the day this shit is All about opinion..Just like y'all saying Pac stans opinions aren't factual and they don't prove anything..you niggas essays to try and prove 2pac wasn't this "super thug" aint edged in stone either...But I will say there is more things that points to he was as real as everybody says he was as opposed to not..only leg people have to stand on to discredit his realness is "he was A performance arts kid" "he was An actor" "he didn't get in trouble until he started rapping"..which doesn't really make your points any more legit than the people y'all calling stans..
