I was gonna make this thread...

I think he should be pardoned, but the pardon process should be changed to allow poor non celebrity folks to get it too.

Agreed. I find it interesting that nobody brought this up until it effected his business. Marky Mark been around for decades now.

So, guy beats two men viciously because of their ethnicity. One of them goes blind the other was unconscious. Said guy has a successful career and now wants to be pardoned. Smh, only in America. Yes that's exactly what we need. More white privilege.

He seemed like a hot tempered young man in his earlier years, but yea I think he should be pardoned as well.

He seems to have turned his life around and is a productive citizen that had stayed out of criminal trouble.

I do agree that this should be expanded to non-celebrity former criminals who have been in any legal trouble over a number of decades or more.

Faggot ass Arnold swortoawoeriajv didnt grant my nigga Tookie Williams his pardon, even after he became a changed man. These mfs wouldnt do the same for us, fuck Marky Mark and his bitch ass burgers.

The only thing that bothers me is it being interpreted as disrespectful by the victims. Especially the one who has to live with what he did to him for the rest of his life (his blindness). He should compensate them in some way, even if it wouldn't be enough.

In principle I think everyone should be pardoned once they've finished their sentence and life without possibility of parole should be abolished.

Mark isn't the only one who owns Whalburgers tho. So couldn't one of the other brothers get the liquor license?

I see no reason not to pardon dude. The shit was 25 years ago, he seems very remorseful, since this isn't the first time this has come up. He's talked about this before in mad interviews and how sorry he was and how much of a stupid, delinquent ass kid he was. Plus the dude served his sentence and ain't really been in trouble since then.

he committed a hate crime and his victim has to live with watching him (with one eye) on tv for the rest of his life with no compensation

Although I would have no way to confirm this I'm fairly sure he has slide that man some money on the low.
