If you misunderstood and thought I meant give me your all-time heavyweights list then DISREGARD THIS COMMENT AND STOP READING….

But if you just did what I think you did we can no longer speak on Boxing. Ever.

HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU HAVE 5 HW’s of all Fighters, IN YOUR TOP 5 P4P ALL-TIME LIST? ALL DIVISONS? REALLY? Pound for Pound? OF ALL THE GREAT GREAT FIGHTERS OVER THE YEARS THIS IS WHAT YOU CAME UP WITH? From that 5 only two even qualify to be spoken in the same breath as the majority of universally regarded p4p all-time great fighters…

Heres my personal list so you know where Im coming from. The little film evidence we have on these fighters (minus Greb and rarely even in Prime) highlight how damn tough and skilled these SOBs were, and theres plenty of newspaper articles to back their resumes up. I base the value of fighters on skill, opposition, era, and accomplishments. I aint in no-way some wannabe internet boxing historian, but It doesn’t take a casual boxing fan to see that anyone that doesn’t regard these fighters in even the top 10 of all-time is an idiot. Get at me nh

SRR

Greb

Langford

Armstrong

Respectable list fam. I too Love Boxing, its one of my favorite sports alongside soccer,Basketball and Football and Im well-versed. But like you said everyone is entitled to they own opinion.

I have Iron mike in my top 5, cuz i grew up watchin him fight. Ive never seen a ferocious 20 year old in boxing. ....Muhammad Ali and Johnson cuz they had the white man shook. In the midst of blatant racism and naked bigotry they dominated the sport

Ofcourse Langford,Armstrong are wayyy better than Tyson and Marciano...I give you that but like i said watchin Iron Mike fight is what made me love the sport.

Its all subjective but Skill-set, Winning mentality, Dominance, titles won,Impact & influence should be the criteria for selecting the Greatest Boxers of all time.

Muhammad Ali fought and dominated in one of the most difficult and competitive eras in Boxing history. Ali possessed the Warrior Spirit.Thats what is missing in the sport now. the white man revoked/suspended his license and stripped him his title and took away his prime years in boxing.....Got reinstated, and had to fight his way to become Champion again IN THE FACE OF RACIAL PREJUDICE???

Ali wuz a Beast and imo the GREATEST SPORTS FIGURE EVER.......No one will ever match him

Muhammad Ali>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Michael Jordan

Its certainly not far fetched to say...only thing working against Wade is the combination of shitty teammates and the injury plagued seasons after he won the Ring....other than that, when healthy, hes one of if not the best slasher in NBA history and has shown the ability to carry a team on his back when it counts.....cant say that for anybody considered a top 5 SG other than Jordan and Kobe like it or not...

I'd draft wade over howard too.

This all depends on what type of team you have. If you have a decent set of guards, who can give you some good numbers, Dwight is the better pick

Ok fam were obviously talking about 2 different things here so well end this now nh. Peace. And just for the record, Joe Louis was just as influential a sports figure to Black America as Ali, if more, never forget that. What he did for your people is often overlooked because he wasnt outspoken like the one you speak

Clyde Drexler would embarrass Wade in his prime on the court.

Clyde >>> Wade, but in a few more years at his current pace, Wade may be better. Right now, hell naw.

Clyde Drexler gets ZERO respect on this Forum..... i rarely see this dude mentioned and when he is most of the folks have that "Oh yea Clyde Drexler he was cool, decent player" Reaction

Sorry man,

Wade>Howard

What about Howard has anybody seen where he can dominate a game like Wade has. i dont even have to type can because dude did it already.

What did some dude post earlier. There is always a guy who gotta say something different. You know the guy when you rank the top players, and everyone knows its Kobe Wade James, in whatever order you feel, but some dude jumps up and says Howard or Durant to try to be different.

Wade is an undersized 2 guard who carried his team to a ring his 3rd year...

Drexler was a beast in his own right tho.....I wasn't old enough to watch full seasons of the guy but I read up on him, looked through stats and watched videos of straight highlights and some videos of actual games to form a general opinion on dude....

With that said, Wade was more talented offensively, both were decent shooters but Wade had better handle which allowed more opportunity to break down the defender and finiish or dish to an open man.... Drexler def had way more hangtime and was a better finisher @ the rim but u can attribute that to the 3 inch height advantage....to Drexlers credit tho, he had to compete with Jordan...

I agree with Mark jackson, but of course I am a big Wade fan.

I think its fair, IMO.

Wade has a scoring title, a ring, gold medal, Finals MVP, carried his team, hit a GW in the playoffs his 1st ever playoff game as a rookie, he had college success. So he has been an elite player for awhile. He shoots a high percentage for a guard, I believe he has the most blocks ever for a guard, if not he is well on his way

Another thing i cant confirm but he might be only person to have 100 steals and 100 blocks in a season, meaning i dont know if he is the only one but he has done it.

Wade didnt "carry" the heat they were an inconsistent regular season team who went on a run in the playoffs

Its Hilarious since shaq averaged scottie pippen numbers in the playoffs that wade "carried" him

As a team the heat won and wade had a great 6 games vs the mavs posey, payton,zo,shaq all made key plays wade beasted against a soft team

Now he's the 3rd best sg ever? Lmao No he aint look at the resume and wade carried them no where since

Even the biggest Wade haters admit that Wade carried the Heat that year and its not arguable at all......shit if Wade never got that rib injury the year before in the ECFs I'm confident they woulda went to the finals but that's another discussion....
