Sounds like stupidity all around. If this dude really was walking around pointing anything that looked remotely like a gun at random people, he's stupid. If the gun was obviously a toy, yet the person that called it in made it seem like it was real, he/she's stupid. If the cop popped on scene and shot dude down without the slightest bit of investigation, he's stupid and deserves jail.

wtf...what happened to "freeze ohio police department drop your weapon" aren't they supposed to identify themselves before just opening fire...I could see if they showed to a shooting in progress....this is a dam shame police chief or whoever should be fired aswell and look up the officer that shot this dude.

and I bet that other person got trampled when the officers started shooting and folks started running

They was about to shoot me before because I was turning around when I was walking backward toward them, one cop even told me, "if you wouldv'e turned around again, I woulda shot your dumb ass, we don't know what you'd done if you turned around" Don't play wit em man. When they got the strap, they have the power. That's fucked up, he had a son too. Fuck these niggas man.

I aint even takin sides just responding to the story as reported here. He was playing around with the toy gun allegedly pointing it at people long enough for someone to call police and them to come? Why? Buy it and go home. in todays world dont go pointing anything that looks like a gun at anybody. Who knows if proper protocal was followed but that seems like bizarre behavior. Who knows i wasnt there though.

He bought an air rifle that day and pointed it at ppl? I would assume he wasn't necessarily pointing it AT ppl but rather just aimlessly pointing it, if he pointed it at all...

Which is a silly thing to do anyways..

But why weren't store employees notified, so that he could be confronted?

Why did the police shoot first?

Fucked up situation..

They need to go back to the cameras to see if he actually pointed it..

Walmart has cameras like a MF, somebody must be hiding the truth if we haven't seen the footage by now.

Walmart and the cops need to be sued into oblivion for this man's life.

It's also highly questionable that someone would be pointing a toy rifle at random people in Walmart and even more questionable they would also still point that toy rifle at heavily armed cops if given a chance to drop it.

How many of these stories MFs need to read before realizing how many "good cops" there really are.

They're creating a climate for the public to start reacting to their presence.

It will happen, ppl will react to cops, which will open the door for them to be a lot more violent.

Gonna end up w martial law

I agree with you. They really need to release the video for this one. Walmart and the police have no problems releasing video on the same day when somebody steals a snickers bar and shit but they love sitting on video like this. I'm going to go ahead and assume that he was pointing it but maybe he was just standing there in the toy section or wherever these guns are displayed pointing it which is kinda important when you're deciding on what gun to buy, real or fake. I've seen plenty kids and other people point these guns at random places to see if they work or not. There's plenty of questions to answer here. What was he wearing? How do they think he got the gun into the store? Did Walmart think he picked up one of their guns? I asked what he was wearing because I'm pretty sure somebody would've said something if they saw a man especially a black man walk into a walmart with a long ass gun like that.

The first thing they woulda done is show video of him in the act of whatever to justify the call ...audio would have also been played from the 911 call...they're holdin info... Bitch azz pigs
