You wouldn't know from television/movies that people die just from being punched or beaten all the time. This is a messed up, morbid story. I don't think Startz or Mounts should be charged for this although I can understand the view that it may be necessary to charge people for unintentional manslaughter/reckless behavior if only to discourage other people from being less cautious.

Maybe it is necessary to send people to jail for unintentional manslaughter to discourage other people from being careless but she can't be blamed for punching him in the face with his consent. She couldn't possibly have known that it would kill him.
