Can't Magneto control the iron in blood? Also, his shield is crazy durable and Lanterns don't use their powers right. Magneto takes it. He's straight up ruthless in battle.

Yes the green aura is a shield but it's just that a shield; not a flashing star from a Super Mario Bros. video game. Think of it like this shields while tough to crack aren't impenetrable and shields could shield you from full blown impact not ALL impact. If a human Green Lantern didn't have the shield then say when someone like Mongul punches them across a room all their internal bones would be broken and they'd be dead. That doesn't mean it still wouldn't sting when under the protection of the shield. A hard hit is a hard hit.

right, their green aura is an auto shield in that will protect them from your regular attacks and effects of flying, but to avoid something greater, they actually have to erect a more powerful shield. All GLs aren't on the same level. Hal happens to be the cream of the crop, along with Kyle
