You guys shouldn't judge everything off gta , you guys would be let down 100% which is not fair to good games like this and yourselves .

this

althought Take Two is the publisher, ya'll are comparing Rockstar to...idk who the hell even developed this game

j.e.t.s

It's not about comparing to Rockstar. It's about comparing one open world game to another. They set the standard, so naturally every open world game will be compared to one of their open world games.

its relative b/c rockstar's budget is probably out the wahzoo with what they can do to make a game

Man this game dope to me. I don't have any fuckin complaints. None whatsoever. Story is excellent... Yeah it's not GTA but I don't go into other open world games expecting it to be GTA when it isn't.

I love how if you rob a place. And you come back to that place it's a crime scene now

So you can rob stores

What other things can u do outside of missions?

Played for a few days now (on ps4). Good game. I'm not big on gta like some were/are so my opinion might be tainted.

Pros: story, music and extras throughout the game

Cons: slow start, background graphics aren't bad but they're not going to make you pause and admire them.

Overall, I'd recommend unless you have something else you're looking forward to in the next two weeks.

Nothing . This is more of a story telling game just has an open world with it

I can get with that. every open world game doesn't necessarily have to have gta sandbox like gameplay. that shit is time consuming. sometimes you just want to play through a story with some action on the side. that's why I like linear games like the uncharted series.

I judge my open world games off saints row 2 and prototype 2.

GTA has little to do with my opinion.

SR2 set the benchmark for customization with a massive world.

I've played saints row 2 on playstation now. its dope but its basically gta san andreas flipped upside down.

There is other extra shit.

Delivering drugs and shit like that. Lincoln is more driven than let's say a Franklin so other side missions/quests really don't make sense.

Just got all the underbosses together and unlocked all the "random" trafficking missions and what not.

For some reason, it just now enabled the 3 vehicles and guns from the kick pack pre-order DLC shit. Shit was weird.

Ok after playing for a while I still think the game is pretty dope story wise... but the actual game play itself is pretty repetitive. That's my only real complaint but like I said the game is still good to me.

the story is pretty damn good.

the game has its fair share of bugs (random crashes, lighting issues, clippings, issues with mission objectives not showing as complete when they are completed, etc) and is repetitive at times but in between these things, there are moments of fun.
